A freeride journey that takes you from the most famous valleys of the Dolomites, from the Val di Fassa to the Alta Val Badia, until Cortina d'Ampezzo. Enter the heart of the Sella Pordoi, Marmolada, Tofane group, where lift facilities and short approaches make these places accessible in short times. DOLOMITES SUPERSKI FREERIDE - WHAT TO EXPECT
1°DAY - Arrive in Falcade
Let's meet all the participants at the hotel in Falcade in the late afternoon with the guide. We'll take care of renting equipment first, then enjoy a welcome dinner while going over the details of the tour and the plans for our first day of skiing.
2°Day - Ski area San Pellegrino Pass and Alpe Lusia
Discover the exciting slopes of Passo San Pellegrino, where the excitement begins on the stunning black runs of "Volata" and "Piavac", as well as the speedy red runs of the famous Ski Area San Pellegrino Alpe Lusia. Our first freeride adventure awaits us as we tackle the beautiful Col Margherita, providing an unforgettable experience amidst the majestic Dolomites. Later on, we will head back to our accommodation in Falcade.
3°Day - Ski area Marmolada Glacier
Today, get ready for an exciting high-altitude adventure! The Punta Rocca Lift will take us up to the peak of the Marmolada, known as the Queen of the Dolomites, reaching an impressive height of 3342 meters (10980 feet). This area boasts the last remaining glacier, along with well-groomed slopes that lead down to Passo Fedaia and Malga Ciapela. We'll have the opportunity to explore various off-piste routes for our descent from the Marmolada. If weather conditions permit, we might even venture through the Way canyon, a remarkable crevice in the rocky cliff that promises an unforgettable skiing experience. Later in the day, we'll make our way to Arabba, a true hidden gem in the Dolomites.
4°Day - Ski Area Val di Fassa Val de Mesdì
After a satisfying breakfast, get ready for some skiing as we head up to the top of Sass Pordoi using the funicular. This is the start of an exciting day of freeriding in Val de Mesdì, a ski route that stretches over 10 km. On our way down to the Pordoi pass, we will cross the expansive Sella plateau and climb 150 meters to reach the Boè Hut. From there, we will make our way down into Val de Mesdì, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomite peaks and ending our journey in the charming villages of Colfosco and Corvara in Val Badia.
5°Day - Ski Area Cortina d'Ampezzo
From the Corvara with private transfer to the Falzarego Pass, where we could descend the classic "Grandma's Coluoir" to then reach Cortina d'Ampezzo and ski on the most beautiful slopes of the 5 Torri and Tofane. In the afternoon, we will be welcomed at a hotel in Cortina.
6°Day - Ski Area Cortina d'Ampezzo
Today, we are heading to the Faloria Monte Cristallo area for some skiing. We will be getting ready for two freeride routes known as "Sci 18" and "Val Orita," which are considered classic off-piste descents in Cortina. These routes are of medium difficulty but can be navigated with good snow conditions. To wrap up our day, we will enjoy skiing on the sunny slopes while taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains in the "Conca Ampezzana".
7°Day - Ski Area Civetta Val di Zoldo
A short ride in a private taxi will take us to Alleghe, where we'll enter the Civetta ski area. Surrounded by a multitude of peaks, we'll ski in the valleys of Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Zoldo, and Palafavera, rich in history, tradition, heroic feats, and early explorations. The Civetta ski area spans 80 km of slopes with 23 lifts available to ensure a satisfying day. Here, we won't miss skiing the "la Civetta" black slope, not too long but intense. In the afternoon, we'll take a Taxi to Falcade, then return to our hotel in Falcade, concluding our tour. Greetings from the Guide.
